Information We Collect

When you book a tour or contact us, we collect basic information to fulfill your reservation: your name, email address, and phone number. If you sign a waiver, we collect the information required by the waiver form, including date of birth and emergency contact.

When you visit our website, we automatically collect limited technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) to help us understand how the site is used.

How We Use Information

We use your information to confirm and manage your booking, communicate with you about your upcoming tour, send marketing emails or SMS if you opt in (you can unsubscribe at any time), improve our website and tour operations, and meet legal and safety requirements.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to run our business. These partners only receive the data needed to do their job: FareHarbor (booking and payment processing), Smartwaiver (digital waiver signing), Klaviyo (email marketing, if you opt in), and Google Analytics (anonymized website usage). We don't sell your personal information to anyone.

Cookies & Tracking

Our website uses cookies to remember preferences and measure traffic through Google Analytics. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings. Blocking cookies may impact some site functionality.

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including HTTPS encryption and PCI-compliant payment processing via FareHarbor — to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your Rights

SMS / Text Messaging Program

HTown ATV Rentals operates an SMS / text messaging program for marketing communications, booking confirmations, tour reminders, and customer service.

Consent. You may opt in to receive text messages by submitting a form on this site, providing your mobile number during the booking process, or replying to a confirmation request with the keyword JOIN or START. By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages from HTown ATV Rentals at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message types. The SMS program may send: tour booking confirmations and reminders, weather and operational updates affecting your booking, promotional offers and seasonal campaigns, post-tour follow-ups including photo delivery and review requests, and customer-service replies.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. Marketing campaigns typically send up to 4 messages per month per subscriber. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, reminders) are sent only when triggered by a related action you take.

Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-out. You can opt out of the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send. After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further marketing messages will be sent.

Carriers. Carriers, including but not limited to T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile information sharing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information sharing — for example, sharing with our payment processor, booking platform, or analytics providers as described elsewhere in this policy — exclude mobile opt-in data and consent.

Privacy. Your mobile number, opt-in records, and SMS message history are treated as personal information and protected as described in the rest of this Privacy Policy.
