What it looks like out there
Before you book
Is this a haunted house?
No. It is a guided ATV ride on real off-road trail that happens to be staged for October. You stay on the machine the whole time, your guide leads the group, and the route is the same one we ride all year.
Can I wear a costume on an ATV?
Yes, and plenty of people do. A helmet has to fit over it, nothing can hang loose near the wheels, and you need to be able to see. Masks come off for the ride itself — face paint and makeup are fine.
Does it cost more than a normal glow tour?
No. It is the same $100 for a single rider and $150 with two on the same machine. The October staging is included — there is no separate ticket and no Halloween upcharge.
How scary is it, really?
Scare actors get close, and they are out in the dark between the lights. If that is too much for someone in your group, the ride underneath it is unchanged — the lit machines, the trail and the guide are all still there.
Can kids do it?
Drivers must be 16 or older with a valid photo ID. Passengers can be 5 or older riding with an adult — but read the question above before bringing a young passenger.
When does it run?
Every glow departure — 8 PM, 9 PM, 10 PM, 11 PM — every night through November 1.
Do I need experience?
No. Every rider gets safety training before the tour, and most people who ride with us have never been on an ATV.
What if it rains?
We run rain or shine — wet trail is usually the better ride. We only move a tour for lightning.
